The Importance of Gratitude
I recently was taught by someone very wise the importance of gratitude. It is important to acknowledge the good around us, big and small, and be grateful. By showing gratitude, you are focusing on all of the positive in your life. This is a very key element to living a happy life.
When you show gratitude, you are thinking positive thoughts which release more positivity into the world and attract more positivity to your life. Imagine how peaceful the world would be if we were all grateful and lived happily.
I encourage all of you to visit this section of the forums everyday and post something that happened to you that you are grateful for

The "H" word
Maybe one of the things we take most for granted; our HEALTH. We've recently had some sad news about a friend of ours who has been diagnosed with an auto immune disease that strikes 7 in 1 million people. She is entering chemo therapy today. It really makes you stop and think how we take for granted that each day we get up and go about our business because we have good health. I am grateful for my health and the health of my family and loved ones...every day!

Great thread,
It's true that we take our health for granted some times. Everyday I wake up and I repeat a motto I heard from an old gentlemen once. He said "Every day on this side of the divot is a good one." So that usually makes me feel thankful to be alive and puts me in a good mood.
I wanted to express my gratitude to the fact that I have clean water to drink and I didn't have to do any work for it. We live in an amazing time, and it's terrible to know that not everyone on the planet has clean water.

So true. Especially for us here in Montreal. We are surrounded by water. For the majority of the world water is very scarce and seriously contaminated.
I am grateful for all the people in my life who love me unconditionally and want to see my happy and succeed. I have some amazing guardian angels around me everyday, I am so blessed

Gratitude Indeed!
Can be grateful enough for all the good things around us? The air, sunlight, rain, breeze, trees, animals and even our body. I mean every part of it - the eye, nose, mouth, tongue, hands, head, legs, and many others that I could not mention. To Him that has kept all these in good condition and gave it for free to us; AM GRATEFUL!!!!!!! I think gratitude is everything....
