Event Description: Faiths in Action has a programme which aims to empower people to build bridges in their communities. One part of this ‘Face to Face’ work is to develop local facilitation for interfaith events. As it is recognized that this is an area where women tend to have less confidence, Conflict and Change put in a bid for training women in facilitation skills as part of our continuing vision to bring together people in Newham. The hope is that women, after having completed the training, will run an event (or events) which will include people from different faiths which will enable participants to meet and take part in shared conversation or activity. Events will not necessarily be about faith, which will often simply be the background for another activity.
