Event Description: The Beautiful Spaces, Sacred Places Chicago tour series is a program of Sacred Space International, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage interfaith dialogue through the shared experience and language of architecture. This 6 week series highlights 6 distinct spiritual centers over the course of the summer, one each week. Tour goers will experience diverse worship spaces throughout Downtown Chicago with knowledgeable architectural guides. Future tours include the Chicago Temple, Downtown Islamic Center, and Seventeenth Church of Christ Scientist.
