About the Event: The Days of Interfaith Youth Service (DIYS) is a campaign that pairs community service and interfaith dialogue. Most DIYS events happen during the month of April-but you can be a part of this Campaign any time of the year. This year, thousands of religiously diverse young people will come together in hometowns and college campuses around the world. DIYS is planned and run by hundreds of local student leaders, college & university chaplains, congregational youth leaders, and interfaith organizers who are as united in a vision of social change as they are diverse in background.

Event History: The Days of Interfaith Youth Service (DIYS) grew out of a vision from the first National Conference on Interfaith Youth Work in 2003. By 2006, DIYS was an international event. Boasting thirty-four sites around the world, DIYS 2007 spanned three continents, five countries, and twelve U.S. region states and the District of Columbia.

Event Details: All are welcome: teens, college-age, young adults, children, and adult mentors/chaperons.

Come join us for dialogue, service, and social action. Build the "interfaith youth movement" in greater Boston! Bring lunch, and a suggested good will donation of $10 for transportation, food, and supplies (scholarship assistance available.) Be sure to wear work clothes and bring your energy and vision!

The "under 12" children's program will run from 1-3:30pm on the site of the church. Children must be accompanied for the duration by an adult.
