Interfaith Day at Miller Park - Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee (ICGM)
Date: July 27th, 2010
Time: 7:05pm
Where: Miller Park
Group: Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee (ICGM)
Event Description: For the first time ever, we have arranged with the Milwaukee Brewers to hold an Interfaith Day at Miller Park. We’ll gather for the 7:05 p.m. Brewers-Reds game on Tuesday, July 27. And you need to be there. Bring your family, invite your friends, organize a group from your congregation or faith community.
This is an opportunity to be a part of history as we all celebrate the Interfaith Conference’s 40th anniversary and our CROP Hunger Walk’s 25th year. Our brightly-colored t-shirts will make a visual statement to thousands of people who may know little or nothing about the Interfaith Conference or the CROP Walk. If we draw 1,000 Interfaith participants to our specially reserved sections, the chairman of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee’s cabinet, Episcopal Bishop Steven A. Miller – will get to throw out the game’s first pitch, in Miller Park. If a lot more people buy tickets, we might be able to have an Interfaith choir or chorus sing the national anthem.
Interfaith Day at Miller Park T-shirt: T-shirts are only $4 apiece. We urge every Interfaith attendee to buy one so that we can make a unified visual statement to the crowd and TV viewers.
T-shirt Order: www.interfaithconference.org/tshirt.html
Deadline to order the T-shirt is June 5, 2010
Tickets: Tickets in our reserved sections are half-price (except for the Dew Deck), with the seats grouped at different levels on the first-base side.
Ticket costs (excluding Brewers’ online service charge and t-shirt charge) are: Terrace Reserved $7.50; Loge Outfield Box $15, Club Outfield $18.
The Dew Deck, which includes a buffet and two beverages, is $55.
