Event Description: Jim McEntee was Director of Human Relations for the County of Santa Clara for 27 years and did much to develop the relationships between different religious and ethnic communities that characterizes our valley today. In his memory, a "Gathering Place for Peace" has been created at the Santa Clara County government building. The program, with Rigo Chacon as MC, will be a dedication of the space and an honoring of Jim McEntee's legacy, featuring music from the St. John Vianney Children's Choir, the Shakuhachi and Koto Musicians, and the San Jose Peace Chorale, and presentations from members of the Board of Supervisors and from Ann McEntee. The dedication will be followed by a community reception at 10:30 a.m.
