Event Description: The speaker is Sherman Jackson, professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Michigan’s Department of Near Eastern Studies, who will address the theme, “Who Speaks for a Religion: Questions of Religious Authority in Our Time.”
Admission is free, and visitors can park in the West Ramp and Lot 13 without being ticketed. The dialogue is sponsored by UT’s Initiative for Inter-Religious Understanding.
