Dr. David Adams - The Culture Of Peace

Dr. David Adams talks about building "The Culture Of Peace" in a series of videos by Awakening The Global Heart Program entitled Vision of World Leaders. Adams talks about the 8 aspects that essential for "The Culture Of Peace" which are identified in the United Nations' Resolutions: equality for women, sustainable equitable development, the free flow of information, international understanding, tolerance and solidarity, democratic participation, human rights, peace education, and disarmament and international security agreements.

Adams says that peace is only sustainable when it is built upon the moral and intellectual solidarity of mankind. He adds that the United Nations cannot achieve "The Culture Of Peace" alone, it takes the collective action of individuals and civil society. He also talks about creating a planetary citizenship for respect of all human rights, understanding each other, and non-violence. Lastly, he talks about the need for organizations, schools, universities, and other groups to link up and work towards achieving the global movement of "The Culture Of Peace".

The resolution called for a global movement for "The Culture Of Peace".
