Welcome everyone! Today marks the official launch of Interfaithing.com. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to what has truly been a labour of love for the Interfaithing team over the past year as we built this site. For those of you who are not familiar with interfaith I encourage you to check out the Start Interfaithing section on the right of the main page for more information.

Two years ago in Montreal, a very wise older man introduced the concept of interfaith to two friends. After thoroughly researching the subject, they discovered that there are thousands of interfaith groups around the world in communities, schools, and places of worship that practice interfaith on a regular basis. They were surprised to discover that even though there is a large population of Interfaithers around the world, there really wasn’t a central source on the Internet where the existing groups could meet and share their knowledge with people not yet familiar with interfaith. That’s when the idea of Interfaithing.com was born.

Interfaithing.com is an online community of Interfaithers and people of goodwill who believe in putting interfaith into action by spreading the message of FRIENDSHIP, RESPECT, and KINDNESS for all of mankind. We plan to reach every corner of the planet with this message by providing our members, both interfaith enthusiasts and average folk alike, with a wide range of services. One of our main priorities is to help the existing interfaith groups grow and guide new groups into existence. To do this, we are building the largest and most up-to-date interfaith chapter database on the Internet. Our interfaith chapter database will make it easier than ever for people to find and join a group in their area.
