Every side of a circle has an equal distance from its center-point, much like each faith has it's differences yet they can be traced back to the same positive fundamentals. In essence, the circle represents equality among faiths and all of mankind.

What makes Interfaithing unique is that it brings the concept of interfaith down to the individual level, with the emphasis on each person taking action to work towards a common goal. The space in the middle was left open for you to fill with your own experiences, and of course yourself.

The pendant includes symbols from 9 of the world's major religions. Each of the religious symbols represent the "Golden Rule" that is found in all of their teachings. The mouse-over diagram above names each of the symbols and their version of the golden rule that unites all of them. We would have loved to include more symbols to the necklace but we did not have enough room!
My interfaithing necklace truly inspires me. As a person with an interfaith upbringing, I truly understand that anything which attempts to bridge the gap between people of different backgrounds is powerful. What a joy it is to know that I am doing my part to promote understanding and tolerance in this world. Thank you interfaithing!

Our world today is often filled with rivalries, conflicts and hardships. As individuals, it can be difficult to initiate and propagate change and truly make a positive difference. To me, wearing the interfaith necklace symbolizes the coming together of a community who want a better tomorrow locally, and globally. It portrays the hope for a peaceful and respectful world.
The Interfaithing Necklace really grabs people's attention. Everyone I meet asks what it is, and it's a great way to get some positive dialogue going. Every day when I put it on it reminds me to be compassionate, kind, and respectful.
In my eyes the necklace represents the unity of humanity. We should rid ourselves of the barriers that separate us and focus on our potential if we joined together. I'm very proud to be wearing one of the first interfaith necklaces. There have been many people over the past couple of months that stop and ask me what the necklace is all about. I'm having a lot of fun explaining the concept of interfaithing and also seeing their positive reactions. I looking forward to interfaithing with you and with people from all around the world!
