The Path of the Friend

A short video documenting the first cross cultural youth exchange on the Abraham Path in Jordan. In June 2008, religiously and culturally diverse students from Leeds Met University in the U.K. traveled to Jordan to hike the Abraham Path, the historic path walked by Abraham/Ibrahim thousands of years ago. The aim of the trip was to help the students become global citizens and build their knowledge and respect for foreign cultures through first-hand experiences and encounters.

According to the official website for the Abraham Path, "by retracing this journey, the Abraham Path provides a place of meeting and connection for people of all faiths and cultures, inviting us to remember our common origins, to respect our cultural differences, and to recognize our shared humanity."
