From October 13-15 2009, UPF (United Peace Federation) Ambassadors from around the world gathered in South Korea to reaffirm, along with thousands of others, their commitment to family, marriage, and peace at the UPF International Leadership Conference: The Significance of Marriage and Family for Peace. Husbands and wives from diverse faith traditions, cultures, and nationalities attended the event to affirm that the foundation of world peace begins with peace in the home and in the marriage. Thousands of newly weds took their marriage vows, while UPF Abassadors for Peace renewed their own at the event.

Great article. I have never identified myself with any one religion in particular. Yet, I have faith and feel spiritual. There are many ways to connect with "God" and I see it everyday in everything around me.

Great insight Mitch. We live in such a fast paced world that few of us stop and take the time to reflect and look inside for any answers. It's definitely a journey and everyday is a gift.

The United Peace Federation is a very large organization. I've been invited to a meeting at the end of the month, will be excited to go there!

Our first relationship in life is with our family. It is important for families to project an image of peace and love to their children. World peace begins in the home! Looking forward to learning more about the UPF.
